Shawn and Katrina (11 July 2010) If you want to get a feel for what it would be like to really live in Amsterdam, we cannot recommend Amsterdam Canal Apartments highly enough. Our location at Ramsgracht 23 was superb...very close to the metro, easy connections to trams, or anywhere else in Europe as Centraal Station is only a stop away. Rembrandt House is also very close as are the Dam, Rembrandtplein, and the Red Light District. There are numerous dining options in the immediate area as well as Albert Heign Grocery for a nice at home meal. Their washer/dryer is so convenient and the apartment is fully decked for entertaining. The Ramsgracht apartment #2 is located on a quiet, beautiful canal and feels immediately like your own home. Bas is there to answer any questions that you may have but is leaves you to enjoy Amsterdam as you see fit. We travel extensively and will definitely return to Amsterdam Canal Apartments the next time that we visit Holland.

Bila @ Zvi Artzi - Israel (21 June 2010) We enjoyed our stay at the apartment! The location is perfect(!!!) and the accommodation was very cozy. All what we needed was there, especially the WiFi possibility. The apartment looks exactly as it does in the photos on the website, and Bas was helping any time we needed something.

Michael (19 December 2008) It's easily the best accommodation I've ever stayed in. The location was great for exploring the main hot spots in the Centrum. Comfy bed, fast internet, smoker friendly it's everything you need. There's a tram about 5 minutes away on the other side of Performing Arts building so that made it easy to get around. Bas is great, he made sure I felt comfortable so many thanks to him. If you're thinking about staying here, don't think about do it before someone else beats you to it. I'll definitely be back!

Judy (27 November 2008) What a wonderful experience. We enjoyed the excellent facilities and the deep calm of the apartment. We especially appreciated being so close to everything: the university, the market at the Waag, Rembrandtplein for the nightlife - it was fantastic. We loved being able to invite people over for dinner or a meeting. We couldn't have been happier and look forward to our next stay.

Paolo (19 January 2008) This is the second time I stay here, and I must say it's simply perfect. The apartment is very cozy, sporting a few antique brick walls and a classic wooden ceiling, contrasting its modern decoration and furnishing. It has everything you need to enjoy an Amsterdam getaway, it is located in a great position, barely two minutes from the Nieuwmarket square, which is brimming with life at all times. A wide variety of cafe's, coffeeshops, restaurants and the occasional non-pretentious boutique are all within easy reach. The Pathe' Tuschinski - the nicest cinema in the city - is also pretty close, and so is a great supermarket (Albert Heijn on the Jodenbreestraat). If you want to really feel at home in Amsterdam nothing beats cooking a nice Thai dinner (and the kitchen in this apartment has it all), opening a good bottle of Chianti, and enjoying a candle-lit meal in sweet company, while you watch the canal life unfold just outside the window, and you hear your favourite symphony in the background (this apartment has a stereo, as well as TV and DVD). A final thought: staying here costs about the same as staying at a three star class hotel, and if you factor in all the extras (like Internet access), it's actually even cheaper than staying at most three star places in the City. Yet the experience you get is sooo much better, it's laughable to even try and compare. I would recommend going with an apartment, and specifically going with _this_ apartment, to all my friends and family members. You can't go wrong here, really. I hope Amsterdam will give you as much as it has given me.

Catalina and Welt (06 September 2007) The apartment is very comfortable, clean and has a nice mixture of antiques and modern furniture. All you need has been taken care of. We did love the surroundings of the apartment : the canals, the houseboats and the old churchbells ringing.We could walk everywhere from here and did not need public transportation at all.
